One couch or a whole living room
A furniture pickup can include one sofa or several agreed pieces. Photograph the complete couch and any matching recliners, tables or other items you want removed so they can be considered together.
Mention sleeper mechanisms, power features and unusually heavy frames. For a sectional, include the number of sections and whether you know how they separate. You do not need to move a heavy piece just to photograph it.
The route out matters
Tell us whether the furniture is indoors, in a garage or already outside. Include doorway widths where the fit is tight, hall turns, stairs, elevator access and the distance to the loading area. Standard first-floor or elevator access should still be confirmed for the specific item.
Have a new sofa arriving? Share that timing when you request pickup, and confirm Bearcat's availability before relying on a particular removal date.
Condition affects the next step
Reusable furniture may have a donation or reuse option when its condition and receiving requirements allow it. Pickup does not guarantee donation. Tell us about damage, moisture or contamination before scheduling; pest-infested items are excluded.
Check cushions and storage compartments for belongings before the crew arrives. Mark other nearby furniture that should stay.
Questions about couch & sofa removal
Do I have to put the couch at the curb?
Tell us where it is. Bearcat handles loading from agreed accessible locations; confirm any stairs, tight doors or unusual lifting before pickup.
Can a sectional go in the same pickup?
Yes, include every section in your photos and quote request, along with any other furniture you want removed.
Will you donate the couch?
Reuse depends on the couch's condition, available recipients and their acceptance rules. Ask about it before pickup; donation is not guaranteed.
