Prepare an appliance for pickup
Empty food and drinks from refrigerators and freezers, and disclose any connected water, electrical or gas supply. Confirm disconnection and special handling before pickup; do not assume installation or trade work is included.
Reuse and recycling
Working units may have reuse opportunities, while metal and appliance components can sometimes be recycled. Special handling requirements, including refrigerants, are assessed separately.
Confirm connections before arranging haul-away
Appliance removal covers hauling an unwanted unit; installation and utility disconnection are separate tasks that must be confirmed. Tell us about any water line, gas connection, hardwiring or built-in installation before the pickup is planned.
Send the appliance type, approximate dimensions and a photo of the route outside. Empty refrigerators and freezers of food and liquids, and identify unusually heavy or commercial equipment. Refrigerants and other components may affect the handling and disposal plan.

Questions about appliance removal
Does appliance pickup include disconnecting gas or water?
Do not assume that it does. Describe all connections before booking and arrange qualified help where needed. The agreed hauling scope must be clear before removal.
Can you remove a washer and dryer together?
Yes, compatible laundry appliances can be reviewed as one pickup. Include both units, their connections and their location in the quote request.
What if the appliance is commercial or built in?
Send photographs and dimensions. Those units require a specific assessment of installation, weight, access and handling.
