Dimensions, connections and access come first
Send the spa's length, width and approximate height, plus photographs of the whole unit and the route to the loading area. Include gates, steps, decking or enclosures around it. Built-in or unusually positioned units need individual assessment.
Confirm that the hot tub is drained and safely disconnected before removal. Appropriate qualified help may be needed for utilities. Any cutting or dismantling must be part of the agreed quote; a general loose-junk estimate does not automatically cover it.

Questions about hot tub removal
Will you disconnect the electrical supply?
Do not assume electrical work is included. Tell us about the connection and arrange appropriate qualified disconnection before removal as agreed.
What if the spa cannot fit through the gate?
Send gate measurements and photos. Dismantling may be needed, and must be assessed and included in the job scope.
Can you also take the surrounding deck?
Deck removal is a separate structure-removal assessment. Include it in the initial request with photos, dimensions and information about what is attached.
