Identify the appliance and its location
Send a photo of the whole unit and tell us whether it is in the kitchen, garage or another part of the property. Approximate dimensions help with large or side-by-side refrigerators and chest freezers.
Built-in, commercial or unusually large refrigeration equipment needs individual assessment. Mention water lines, an ice maker, cabinetry or anything that affects moving the unit out.
Have the unit ready for pickup
Remove food, drinks and loose personal items before collection. Confirm that the unit can be safely disconnected and moved before the pickup date. Plumbing, electrical work and new-appliance installation are not automatically included in a haul-away quote.
Photograph narrow doors, tight corners or steps along the exit route. Explain whether an elevator is available and where the trailer can park. You do not need to move a heavy appliance yourself to request an estimate.
Ask about handling and disposal
Appliances may need different processing from ordinary household clutter, including consideration of refrigerants and other components. Bearcat confirms the unit and applicable handling as part of the job scope.
If you are clearing several appliances or an entire garage, photograph the full group. This lets the quote reflect the whole pickup rather than an appliance you add after arrival.
Questions about refrigerator removal
Can you remove a freezer that no longer works?
Send its details and condition for assessment. Empty it of food and drinks, and disclose any unusual contamination or handling concerns before pickup.
Will the crew disconnect my refrigerator's water line?
Confirm disconnection arrangements in advance. Do not assume plumbing, electrical work or installation is included with hauling.
Can I include a washer or dryer?
Yes, photograph all the appliances you want considered and mention their connections and access so the quote covers the agreed group.
