Make room after a move or delivery
A stack of empty boxes can occupy more room than expected. Photograph the full pile and any boxes stored in other rooms so the estimate covers all of it. Let us know whether boxes are empty, flattened or still contain unwanted goods.

Separate cardboard from mixed waste
Clean cardboard and mixed packing material may need different handling. Identify foam, plastic wrap, wood pallets, wet boxes or other debris in the pile. Keep liquids, chemicals and food waste separate.
Flattening boxes can save space if you can do it comfortably, but explain their current condition when requesting the quote. A photo of the pile beside a familiar object is often more useful than guessing its volume.
Plan the loading area
Tell us whether the material is in a driveway, behind a gate, upstairs or in a business loading area. For an office or warehouse, include access hours and any loading restrictions.
Reuse or recycling depends on material condition and available receiving options. If recycling is a priority for your project, discuss it with Bearcat before the pickup is arranged.
Questions about cardboard & box removal
Do the boxes have to be flattened?
Tell us how they are currently stored. Flattening can reduce the space they occupy, but the quote should reflect the material and work as it is when you request pickup.
Can packing foam and plastic go too?
Identify those materials in your photos. Bearcat can assess compatible packaging and explain what must be kept separate.
Is cardboard pickup free because it can be recycled?
This is a loading and hauling service quoted for your project. Recyclability does not remove the time, transportation and handling involved.
