What to include in your request
- Desks and work tables
- Office chairs and cabinets
- Freestanding shelves
- Moving boxes and compatible business clutter
List the furniture and work areas
A room-by-room inventory helps distinguish a small furniture pickup from a larger office cleanout. Send counts and photos of desks, chairs, cabinets and shelving, along with anything that needs dismantling to fit through a doorway.
Empty drawers and cabinets before pickup. Keep employee belongings, records, keys and equipment that will move to the new space clearly separated from the removal items.
Work through building access first
Share building loading rules, elevator availability, the route to the truck and any limits on pickup times. Upper-floor offices or long interior carries require advance confirmation. If building management needs paperwork or approval, raise that requirement before booking.
- Identify the person approving the cleanout
- Reserve loading or elevator access when the building requires it
- Describe bolted, built-in or unusually heavy furniture
- Confirm a pickup window with Bearcat and the building
Keep records and electronics in the right process
This service is for agreed junk and furniture removal. Arrange your own handling of confidential documents, hard drives and business data before anything leaves the office. Ask about electronic equipment individually rather than assuming every device can go in a general load.
Construction material, fixtures and warehouse inventory should be identified separately so the quote includes the right handling and disposal requirements.
Questions about office cleanouts
Can you remove a few desks instead of the whole office?
Yes. Send the number and type of pieces, photos and access details for a quote covering those items.
Can you collect from an upper floor?
Tell us the floor and elevator or stair conditions before scheduling. Access and handling must be confirmed for the specific job.
Does the service include secure document or data destruction?
No. Keep confidential records and data-bearing equipment separate and arrange their handling before the furniture pickup.
